Conservation in Human-modified Landscapes
Our research aims to understand the impacts of human-modified landscapes on biodiversity and ecosystem function, as well as assess and understand restoration. Recent projects include:
- Incorporating spatial population processes to species conservation in human-modified landscapes.
- Conservation and restoration of koala populations in fragmented landscapes in eastern Australia, the mulglands of southwestern Queensland and northwest New South Wales.
- Determining the factors that influence farmers to conserve remnant vegetation.
- Quantifying the ecological values of Brigalow regrowth for woodland birds in southern Queensland and northwest New South Wales.
